As time goes by,
We all do change and nothing seems to remain the same;
Our hearts stay young as we grow old,
The feelings are there but our love grows cold;

There must be a reason,
As to why we’ve met again;
Although I am not really sure,
Why did our friendship first end;

We maybe needed time away,
To get our lives straight;
But we’ve found this love again,
And I’m thankful to God that it’s not too late;

We’ve missed so much time back then,
Many things we could have done together;
But we’ve found this love again,
So we can start doing things together forever;

Let us not let this love,
Seem to ever fade away;
For I have many dreams for us,
