Today’s a day for you mom,
And may all your dreams come true;
May God bless you on your birthday,
And may you know that I love you;

Let all your wishes be granted,
May all your prayers be heard;
Let God grant you peace, mom,
As you live by His precious word;

I know that I am not the best, mom,
And at times I make you cry;
But I really try so hard mom,
To make the days of bad go by;

I’m asking God to forgive me,
So we can be happy again;
Because I really do love you mom,
And I want to know God again;
